The Aqara P1 motion sensor is a more advanced and updated version of Aqara with an extra wide viewing angle and wireless so no tools are required for installation. With the included sensor bracket and tag, you can set up the motion sensor wherever you want. In addition, your battery can reach up to five years of useful life.
The P1 Motion Sensor can achieve a record five-year battery life and will have acceptable lifespan even in very low temperatures or ultra-fast detection timeouts.
The Aqara P1 sensor has an extra wide field of view : 170° for up to 4 meters and 150° for up to 7 meters. With a versatile 360° stand, you can easily adjust the viewing angle and activate the sensor only when you need it. Additionally, the three sensitivity modes (high, medium, and low) are programmable and correspond to the distance at which the sensor will activate, which can help reduce false alarms and more flexible installation.
The detection time can be easily programmed without having to make any hardware modifications. By programming the standby time from 1 to 200 seconds in the Aqara Home app, you can save energy or catch your every movement in a short time.
By programming Aqara Home’s alert system or using it on HomeKit or other compatible systems, you can enjoy constant monitoring, on-site acoustic signals, light alarms and cloud notifications in case of motion detection. Program IF conditions and THEN actions, and many routine tasks like turning on the lights with the Aqara Smart Wall Switch can be automated. The aqara P1 motion sensor is compatible with a wide range of smart home ecosystems and voice assistants, such as HomeKit or Alexa.
