4G/LTE connection
For operation the smart camera doesn’t need internet or Wi-Fi. It simply uses GSM technology. So it’s enough to have a SIM card with a data plan and a mobile signal. The Tesla Smart app then connects it to your mobile phone.
2K and night vision
A 3-megapixel sensor with 2K resolution (2304 × 1296) takes care of detailed images with zooming even in the dark. Due to LED illumination, it preserves details and images including colours at night up to a distance of 10 metres. And if it detects motion, it records the event and stores it on a MicroSD card or on the cloud.
Solar power
You can’t connect the camera to the power supply? It doesn’t matter. A USB-C connector connects it to a small 5W solar panel The built-in battery has a capacity of 9600 mAh and can last up to 30 days (at 20 activations per day).
Nearly 100% field of view
The camera allows lens rotation of 350° horizontally and -90° to 30° vertically. You can rotate it via an app on your mobile phone, and it will even alert you if it detects unusual movement.
