TESLA Smart App
The mobile app integrates the sensor into your smart home in literally minutes. You’ll find the settings you need, connection to voice assistants, pairing with other smart products and options for selecting scenarios – these determine exactly what should happen when motion is detected (for example, turning on a light or triggering an alarm). If you want, the app will even alert you if something is happening in your home.
ZigBee technology
The Motion Sensor is connected to the network using ZigBee technology. In order to make full use of its smart functions, the home must be equipped with a ZigBee gateway (TESLA Smart ZigBee Hub). Smart products communicate with each other via the ZigBee protocol, similar to Wi-Fi. The huge advantage of this technology, however, is its low energy consumption, which means that the sensors can last up to a year on a single battery. The system allows a network range of up to 50 m and is very stable.
