Are 70mai cameras difficult to use?

• 70mai devices are very simple and intuitive to use. All software, menu, functionality and application are developed in cooperation with Xiaomi’s ergonomic specialists. The shape of the devices and the arrangement of buttons in each 70mai product are designed to make the device as discreet as possible and at the same time the easiest to use. In addition, the most important functions in the camera menu have graphical symbols that are simple and easy to understand.

Where is the best place to mount the camera in the car?

• We know from experience that the best installation is directly behind the rear view mirror, more or less in the middle of the glass, so that it does not obstruct visibility and distract the driver.

How to properly install the 70mai car camera on the windshield?

• On the market, there are cases of devices whose assembly consists in sticking them to the glass “sharply”, that is, with the use of double-sided tape. It is connected with later difficulties in disassembly or with persistent removal of tape fragments on the glass. 70mai decided to solve the previously mentioned problems of users by applying a special electrostatic sticker. In the packages with our video recorders there is a transparent sticker which, thanks to its properties, sticks to the surface of the car window like a magnet. And it is from this sticker that we start assembling the camera. Before sticking the sticker, it is a good idea to clean the planned place of installation with a glass cleaner. Only to the installed electrostatic sticker we glue the camera. Insert the video recorder into the yoke (black handle) attached to the package and stick it in the central area of ​​the electrostatic sticker. Ready.

Is the dedicated 70mai application in Polish?

• Just like most, the 70mai application is in Polish, available for download on almost any device from the “Google Play” and “App Store” stores.

Can 70mai cameras take photos while driving?

• Yes, each model can take photos while driving. It is possible thanks to the 70mai application, having a connection with your camera with one button “Take photo” we take photos that are saved in a separate folder on the memory card.

Does the recorder turn on automatically when the car is turned on?

• Yes, all 70mai recorders turn on when the ignition is turned on / the engine is started. The exception are cars, where there is a constant power supply in the cigarette lighter socket with the ignition off, then the camera has to be turned on manually with the button or simulated by connecting the power supply by removing and inserting the charger into the cigarette lighter socket.

How does the Wi-Fi function in cameras work?

• All our video recorders have a built-in Wi-Fi, thanks to which they create their access point, the so-called Wi-Fi hotspot. As a result, it allows you to connect to the device to change individual settings, view and download recordings to your smartphone and take photos with the recorder. For this, of course, a dedicated 70mai application is necessary. The range of the Wi-Fi module itself is about a dozen to several dozen meters from the camera. The important information is that this network does not allow you to use the Internet.

Do 70mai camera lenses have glass lenses?

• Yes, the lenses used in the objectives of the 70mai recorders are made of glass, which is why i.a. that’s why they record in such great quality.
