Automate your home in the simplest way

The Aqara E1 Curtain Controller can help you enjoy automatic control of your existing curtains based on weather, time, lighting conditions or other activated Aqara devices. You’ll be able to set a timer to customize a sleep-wake routine that fits perfectly into your personal schedule. Automations are supported through HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT.

Note: An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required , Not included. (*Make sure the Aqara Hub firmware and Aqara Home app have been updated to the latest version.)

Powerful engine

Thanks to its powerful motor, the maximum load of the Aqara E1 Curtain Controller can reach up to 12 kg. You can choose between one or two motors per window. In the case of installing two, they can be grouped so that you can open the curtains simultaneously. In addition, the motor speed can be adjusted to three levels , so it will run more quietly and open the curtain slowly to make waking up more pleasant.

Forget about recharging the battery

The Aqara E1 (Rod Version) has a long-lasting battery. A huge 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that can last up to a year without charging. (The calculated battery life refers to opening and closing a curtain on a 1.5 meter track (i.e. 2 curtain controllers per window) once a day, and also depends on friction, weight and curtain type). Additionally, the device can be charged via Type-C using an external battery or power supply (both not included).

You can control it from anywhere

It has multiple control methods, after setting up the guide in the Aqara Home application, you can control the curtains when you are away from home or through voice commands with Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant. In addition, the built-in light sensor allows the E1 Shade Controller to automatically control itself based on actual brightness. If there is too much light outside, the curtains will close themselves.

Easy installation

Easily mount the Aqara E1 Curtain Controller to your existing curtain rod or track without additional tools, it will be hidden behind the curtain. (*NOTE: Supports most popular rod curtains (includes “grommet kit”), excluding extendable rods. Rod diameter range: 25 to 32 mm.)
