The Mi Smart Band 9 is Xiaomi ‘s new smart activity bracelet . Like its predecessor, the Smart Band 8 , it has a 1.62” AMOLED screen and an oval design, but includes improvements in some of its features, from a brighter screen to a smaller size and longer battery life , which can reach 21 days . In addition, it incorporates more than 150 sports modes , including swimming with its 5 ATM water resistance and extremely precise sensors that monitor heart rate and SPO2 .

1.62” AMOLED display with metal frame

The Smart Band 9 maintains the same 1.62” AMOLED screen size as the previous model, but with a slightly reduced frame, reducing its size. Although the screen resolution is the same (192 x 490 px) , this version stands out for its high brightness level of 1200 nits , double that of its predecessor, allowing perfect viewing even in environments with excessive sunlight. In addition, it has a refresh rate of 60 Hz that provides fluidity of use. On the other hand, it allows the use of accessories to wear it as a pendant around the neck or on shoes and thus obtain professional statistics on running sessions.

Improved heart rate and SPO2 sensors

The sensors built into the Smart Band 9 monitor heart rate and blood oxygen with 10% greater efficiency than its predecessor, including a notably improved level of accuracy when tracking sleep hours . In the event of any anomaly, the bracelet will vibrate thanks to its built-in motor with 20 different vibration modes included.

150+ sports modes and water resistance

The Smart Band 9 will accompany you in every workout you do, counting the number of calories burned and with more than 150 sports modes to follow each activity in detail, measuring times and changes in heart rate. It can even be used for swimming in the pool thanks to its 5 ATM water resistance , which allows it to be submerged up to 50 meters.

Up to 21 days of battery life

The Smart Band 9 battery has a capacity of 233 mAh . Superior to the Smart Band 8 in this aspect, it provides up to 21 days of typical use and up to 9 days with AOD mode activated. In addition, its full charge time is approximately 1 hour.
